About 

JustFaith, a justice-education and faith-formation program operating in 90 dioceses nationwide, is offering a workshop in the Archdiocese of Boston for parish leaders interested in engaging more people in the work of justice and peace.  

By exploring the biblical tradition, the historic witness of the Church, Catholic Social Teaching, and the relationship between spirituality and justice,  JustFaith facilitates an exciting journey of compassion, conversion and commitment.  

If you’d like to learn more about this dynamic program, if you’d like to deepen your own understanding of the rich Justice Tradition of our faith, and encourage others in your parish to become agents of healing and compassion in our world, join us for this inspiring, informative workshop

 

JustFaith Workshop Facilitator

Dan Driscoll holds a Master of Divinity degree from Notre Dame, served as Director of Parish Social Ministry in the Greensburg, Pa Diocese, and has been an editor with Ave Maria Press. He currently serves as administrator for a Montessori school. Dan has worked with parishes, schools, and community organizations on spirituality and justice issues for over 15 years. Dan is married and has five children.

From Rt. 95 (Rt. 128)—Exit 21, head east on Rt. 16 for approximately three miles. You will come to a traffic light with a Dunkin Donuts on your diagonal corner, turn right at these lights ontoAdams Street. Go to the end of street and the church will be on your right. There is a parking lot on the right side of Adams Street just before the church.

From Rt. 93 – Exit 20 onto Mass Pike heading West and follow Mass Pike directions listed below.

From Mass Pike heading West—Exit 17, go to top of ramp (stay to the left-following sign to Newton, this will bring you to Washington Street) go to the 5th set of lights (Adams Street). The church is on the corner of Washington and Adams Streets. Turn right onto Adams Street and you will see our parking lot on your left.

From Mass Pike heading East—Exit 17, go to top of ramp. Go straight, staying in right lane tofirst set of lights, turn right onto Centre Street, to first light, turn right onto Church Street cross over Mass Pike and at lights turn left onto Washington Street.

Go to the 2nd set of lights (Adams Street) and the church is on the corner of Washington and Adams Streets. Turn right onto Adams Street and you will see our parking lot on your left.

By Public Transportation—

From Downtown Crossing (at Federal Street) to Newton Corner, take Express bus #504

From Kenmore Square to Newton Corner, take Watertown bus #57

From Copley Square to Newton Corner, take Watertown bus #502 or #504

*The church is about a 1/3-mile down Washington Street from Newton corner.
